I've used Unique, 800X, HP38, and am now using Blue dot for my 10mm.

I really like Longshot and have used it for a long time on 9mm and 40S&W. I have got about 3lbs, but I think H 110 or 2400 would be a good choice. I have used some with no over pressures signs but I did not go their max loads. When I shoot the J bullets there usually at or near full MV so those two powders work best. I agree that if you are only going for top loads H-110/W-296 will give you the ultimate. I load 38 special, 357 Magnum, and 9mm; and have been quite pleased with BE-86. H110 and 2400 are both poor choices for the 10mm.
